When creating any of our keepsakes, it is crucial that the flowers are completely dry before being poured with resin. This is because any moisture trapped within the flowers can cause them to rot and decay over time, ruining the overall aesthetic of the piece. Additionally, resin does not work well with moisture. By ensuring that your flowers are thoroughly dried before incorporating them into your keepsake piece, we can create a stunning and long-lasting piece that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Each Bloomsake piece is designed to honor the natural beauty of your flowers. As of January 2026, we are no longer offering color enhancing services and preserve blooms exclusively in their true, natural tones.

During the drying and preservation process, flowers naturally undergo changes in color as moisture is removed and pigments stabilize. Some blooms experience deeper or more noticeable shifts such as reds darkening, blush tones turning gray, or certain varieties developing earthier hues. These changes are a normal part of preservation and reflect the flowers’ transition from fresh to everlasting.

Every bouquet is unique, and color changes vary based on flower type, pigment, and structure. These natural variations are considered part of the preserved character of each piece.

Floral bruising is a natural occurrence that can happen when preserving flowers in resin. These transparent spots can appear on flowers after resin is poured on them. While bruising shows up with resin, it is actually a result of the way that the flowers were handled when they were still fresh. If they were touched frequently then this will reflect later on in the pouring process. Bruising can most commonly be seen in roses, tropical flowers, lighter color flowers and flowers with thin petals. Don’t worry, they are not holes in your flowers. While bruising can be an unwanted effect for some, it is important to note that it is a natural part of the preservation process. We highly recommend adding the color enhancement option if you are not a fan of bruising. Adding color enhancing will not completely eliminate bruising, but it will minimize the look more compared to non enhanced flowers.

In resin floral preservation, bubbles are a natural and common occurrence. When resin is poured over delicate flowers, air trapped within the petals often rises to the surface, creating tiny bubbles. This happens because flowers are naturally porous, and as the resin cures, air can be released from the petals. While we take every precaution to minimize bubbles by carefully drying and sealing your flowers, some bubbles may still appear. These little imperfections are a testament to the organic beauty of your preserved blooms, capturing the natural essence of your flowers within a timeless keepsake.

Although resin art produces breathtaking results, the nature of this medium introduces complexities. Occasionally, resin pieces may exhibit imperfections like bubbles due to its unique properties. Additionally, over time, resin can naturally develop an amber hue, particularly when consistently exposed to sunlight or heat. To offer alternatives free from these influences, we recommend exploring our other preservation styles, such as exquisite pressed frames or elegant shadowboxes.

• Avoid Direct Sunlight and Heat: Prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat may cause the resin to amber over time. Keep your keepsake in a shaded area away from direct sunlight and any sources of heat.
• Cleaning Instructions: To clean, simply use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may damage your keepsake.
• For Coasters and Trays: Please refrain from placing hot items like coffee or tea mugs directly on coasters or trays. Additionally, avoid placing candles on these surfaces to prevent heat damage.

To create your unique piece, all flowers must be fully dried. Certain flowers may change colors when dried, leading to a natural, organic look once encapsulated in resin. You will receive a design preview once the flowers are dry, ensuring you are satisfied with your custom piece.

WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO DRY THE AMOUNT OF FLOWERS USED FOR YOUR ORDERED ITEMS, PLEASE DO NOT SEND TOO MANY FLOWERS. RETURNING UNUSED FLOWERS IS NOT POSSIBLE.

Production time for your modern bouquet preservation piece is approximately 6-12 months. We aim for each resin floral piece to be a reflection of your unique style and sentiment.

While we strive to minimize imperfections, some bubbles may naturally occur in the resin. These bubbles are part of the charm of handmade creations, enhancing the organic beauty of your preserved flowers.

Shipping Flowers to Us
Shipping costs for sending your flowers are not included in product pricing and are the client’s responsibility. Rates vary based on package size, weight, and origin. Overnight or 2-day shipping is recommended so your flowers arrive as fresh as possible.

Shipping instructions and the shipping address will be provided in your order confirmation email after purchase.

Please note: our studio is closed on weekends. If your wedding falls on a Friday, keep your flowers in water and ship them Monday morning. We are not responsible for packages delivered on weekends.
